High Density Hand Crank Shelving Safety Sweeps

July 15, 2014
High density hand crank shelving has safety devices to protect users while working in an open aisle and materials left in an aisle. The devices are called safety sweeps and are formed metal flanges located at floor level running the length of the shelving. When the safety sweep comes in contact with a person's foot or an item left in a moving aisle, it stops the shelving from moving by locking up the hand crank handle.
