Automated Cleaning System for Surgical Instruments AMII Standards | Tempest Washer

The Tempest Washer is an automated cleaning system for surgical instruments. The automated cleaning system washes and cleans the inside and outside of surgical instruments. The first stage of the cleaning process starts with cleaning the instruments in 120 degree water solution and ultrasonic cleansing. The second step of the cleaning process cleans the inside of the instruments with an enzymatic cleaning fluid and flushed with air/water mixture. The Tempest Washer can clean up to 24 cannulated instruments. Finally, the Tempest Washer tank is drained the surgical instruments are rinsed with 190 degree water and sprayed with an ozonated water rinse to kill any bacteria ruminants. The Tempest Washer cleans surgical instruments beyond AMII standards.
