How to Load A Vertical Bedlift with Broken Hospital Beds Stretchers
To load the three-high vertical bedlift, first set the ramps down and roll the hospital bed onto the storage platform. Once the bed is on the platform set the bed’s brake and put the platform’s safety stops in place. Now you can remove the ramps and push the platform lift button to lift the bed. For safety reasons, the bed platform will only operate when the button is depressed. The bed platform will automatically stop at the appropriate level for the next bed to be loaded. The bedlift will accommodate any size stretcher or hospital bed with or without fold down bed handles. Once the first bed is loaded, roll the second bed onto the next platform and set the bed brakes and place the platform’s safety stops in place and press the platform lift button to raise the bed. After the second bed is raised, roll the third bed into position and set the brakes and turn the power to the off position. The vertical bedlifts come in 2, 3, 4, and 5 high models to meet your space requirements. In addition, the vertical bedlifts come with a safety photo eye that prevents any platform from being lowered when a bed is located in the bottom position. Optional enclosed side panels, back panels, and rolling doors are available if desired.
