Mechanical-assist High Density Shelving Hand Crank Compact Shelves

April 15, 2016
Mechanical-assist high density shelving (also called hand crank compact shelves) moves easily rolling back and forth on floor tracks by simply rotating an ergonomically-designed three-spoke handle. The ADA compliant flush-to-floor guidance rails is the safest in the industry because it removes all gaps between the floor and the track that can cause tripping hazards. Cardholders at the end of each row help identify what is in each aisle, allowing you to find what you need faster. Anti-roll safety locks on the control handles keep the movable units securely in place while someone is working in the aisle. Simply push the lock pin in to lock the control handle from rotating, and pull it back out to resume movement again. In the unlikely event the chain tension needs adjustment, it can be easily accomplished without removing the end panel. An optional security lock is available that allows you to easily lock a portion or the entire shelving system if desired.
